Summer camp at The Little Gym of Alexandria at Van Dorn combines physical activities and gym games with arts, crafts and special guests — from furry friends to local heroes such as firefighters and policemen have been known to stop by the gym! Each week is a different theme and each day brings a unique lesson plan! Plus, flexible scheduling allows for you to reserve just one day, a few days or even a week — whatever will fit your family’s summer schedule!

Love your blog! Thanks for keeping me informed of all the great happenings in and around Delray. This summer my boys will be enjoying the playground, spray park, and sprinkler. We’ll be taking a week long trip to Bethany Beach in August as we gear up for the first day of preschool in September!
We are having a quiet summer, a couple camps but mainly a lot of time hanging out and enjoying all alexandria and DC have to offer

The boys will be spending most weekends at the lake or on the Jersey Shore. We’ll fill the weeks enjoying all of Alexandria’s great spray parks and pools. We’ve got a week planned in the Outerbanks and will wrap up the summer on the Pacific Northwest.

My little monkey has recently gotten very interested in climbing anything that seems remotely scalable and we’ve been thinking about enrolling her in a toddler gym class. This would be a perfect test run!
This summer she’ll be travelling to the Adirondacks for a family vacation, learning to swim and playing in the sand. Then some of her cousins will be coming to stay with us in Alexandria for a week so she’ll get to explore the zoo, water park and an interactive farm.
My 5yo is doing some random camps thru Fairfax county parks & rec, lots of time at the pooll, and a couple family trips. My 2yo is tagging along with her big brother, as usual. (But she’d probably love some time at Little Gym!)
The girlies and I will be living at the pool and taking lots of mini adventures around the DC area, plus a few to visit family and friends. Love having so many sunny days to spend together without the hustle and bustle of the school year.
My 2 yr old and 1 yr old will be playing outside as much as possible. Love the warm weather!

What a great idea! I have looked into Little Gym and maybe this would get us there and finally signed up! My little guy will be doing swim lessons, entertaining visitors and going to many Nationals games this summer!
We’re visiting Grandma in Florida and will be back at school August 1st since we are on a modified calendar.
My oldest is involved in hockey all summer but my 4 year old will be hanging with me by the pool most of the summer. I’m sure she’d love a few days at the Little Gym!
What a great contest to get residents like ourselves, who have never been to the little gym of alexandria, interested! This summer, my daughter and I are exploring new places like fort hunt, new libraries in DC, new spray parks and we’ll be heading to see grandmas and grandpas in the Midwest. Being a teacher, I cherish this special time with my daughter!!
